‘Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God’. Heb 12:2
Wow….the human mind can’t even begin to comprehend what this actual means… we need the spirit to reveal this to us.
As we begin to read or study the bible we quickly discover that everything we possess from God is accessed by faith and that God works mightily and powerfully where faith is exercised and used.
But then Hebrews let us know, that God, through Christ is the initiator (author) and perfecter (finisher) of that faith which we attain to and this faith arises out of Christ that lives in us. We must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him as we grow up in our journey of faith.
Faith is the spiritual casual realm where all things from the foundation of the earth exist and God can only bring it to us via his Word…which is a Word of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word or to paraphrase ‘faith comes by hearing the anointed message of Messiah the Christ’ It is of faith so that He can deliver it to us by grace. It must be by God and God alone not the working of human endeavour or the working of the flesh.
So as we hear the Word of faith we act on it (that’s the believing part) as faith without acting on it is dead, as the body without the spirit has no life. It is an existence of partnership: Without Him there is no faith or Spirit and without you and I there is no conduit for the Spirit to flow through: He inherits the body and we inherit (his) spirit.
We come into divine alignment as He ‘writes’ each chapter of faith as we grow. He is the author of your faith and will guide it on a journey to where he needs it to grow and develop. Your faith will be tested and stretched to bring it to its perfected end. Some chapters are going to be difficult, but the purpose of the journey is to develop us to having strong faith.
You are the value in the journey…you are the one who is becoming and growing into the son of God who brings about a manifestation in the earth.
‘I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’. Gal 2:20
