A Living Hope

So I am in a middle of a quandary, God is good, things are generally going well, BUT...I find myself lately in the middle of certain situations, things that could cause me to lose my cool, lose my mind...why because it feels as though certain things were not working out the way that I expected, (hoped for) it at this stage.

You know how it is....

  • I expected my job/business situation to be further progressed...by now

  • I expected the ‘home’ situation to be sorted...by now

  • I expected the relationships to work this way....and not that way

  • the list could go on...

But just as I am about to give up hope...

And then I come to my senses!!!!!

Psalm 39:7

And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. (NLT)

But now, O Lord, upon what am I relying? You are my only hope! (NET)

My/our confidence and hope is in HIM and NOT in the situations and HOW it comes about.

Let me explain.....

We are confident IN God for everything.

We are confident in Him for the situation and the route in which He chooses for their outcome and the destination.

Putting our hope IN the situation or people puts us at a disadvantage as situations and circumstances can be temporary and prone to not working out in the way we expect it.

However, can put our hope in the one who is ‘Living HOPE’ – the one who gives us hope in hopelessness. And we can hope from the beginning to the end of the situation.
